Evidence of not one, but two dealerships in the Montclair, New Jersey, area exist in this street scene we found over at the Duke University Libraries Digital Collections. The first, Clairidge Lincoln Mercury, we came across in another Monclair street scene, but the second, Blauvelt Pontiac, helps pinpoint the location here as Bloomfield Avenue just east of Grove Street in Montclair. Re #9811 from right to left
    late 60's early 70's Beetle
    70,71 Ford Maverick
    '64 Pontiac
69 or 70 Ford Country Sedan
    '69 or 70 Chrysler
    '71 or '72 Chevy wagon
'66 Ford? (not sure, hard to see)
    Another Beetle
I think I'm pretty close on all of them. Anybody agree or disagree?

Maybe a 71' or 72' Chevy truck next to the Maverick? Full of boxes. Maybe it's parked but looks to be in traffic.

Thanks KK. Don't know why I skipped over the Cutlass.
How about those 2 in the used lot? I'm thinking one might be a Grand Prix, maybe. I can't even venture a guess on the wagon; the pick up's blocking all of its identifying features.

That's definitely a Grand Prix. As to the wagon, I agree, not enough identifying details. If I had to guess, I'd say '73-'75 big Ford, but heck, I wouldn't be surprised if it was a Pontiac.

Looks like she's desperately trying to push the horse away to protect her Valiant!
