But why a white fire hydrant?

I have seen white fire hydrants, yellow ones, red fire hydrants, and red, white, & blue ones.

This’ll be the third time we’ve seen the billboards for Montclair, New Jersey-based Clairidge Lincoln-Mercury in street scene photos found on the Duke University Libraries Digital Collections, so one would think we’d eventually come across vintage photos of the actual dealership.
