Looks like this driver got himself into a pickle. I hope this Cadillac counts as a wagon....They do call them meat wagons. Don't they?

When I found this photo I couldn't find another one showing the other vehicle involved or any caption, so you'll just have to make one up in your head.:banghead3:[IMG]

Hey everyone maybe you can tell what make and model
of wagon this is. The only caption is Three injured and two dead.
Los Angeles, Ca. August 5, 1951.
It's not a Chevy (grille is all wrong) with a 6 cylinder because
you would be able to see the engine especially with the hood off,
also the air cleaner is on the wrong side.
By the look of this air cleaner I think it belongs to a flat
head engine. Also look at the door handles they don't appear
    to be push button.
It has the split windshield, I believe GM changed to one
piece in '53. I'm leaning towards a Plymouth and I think they
went to a one piece windshield in '53. I know it would be easy
to go on line and pull up what ever year or make I want, and
then I would find out but I'm trying to exercise my brain and
my thought process and just maybe you guys will do the same.
It's to easy to just go to the Internet and find things nowadays.
I can see written on the side of a building down the street Shrine
Auditorium I did have to look that up and the address is 665
West Jefferson Boulevard Angeles,Ca. but I don't see this cross
street that ends in ''wer'' now granted this accident occurred in
1951 so the street might have been eliminated. Let me know
    your thoughts are.
    My Regards

The Pan-Pacific Auditorium was a landmark
structure in the Fairfax District of Los Angeles,
California, opened to a fanfare of Boy Scout bugles
on May 18, 1935 for a 16-day model home exhibition.
It once stood at 7600 West Beverly Boulevard
near the site of Gilmore Field, an early Los Angeles
baseball venue predating Dodger Stadium. It was
located within sight of both CBS Television City on
the southeast corner of Beverly and Fairfax Avenue
and the Farmers Market on the northeast corner of
Third Street and Fairfax. For over 35 years it was the
premiere location for indoor public events in Los Angeles.
The facility was closed in 1972, beginning 17 years of
steady neglect and decay. In 1978 the Pan-Pacific Auditorium
was included in the National Register of Historic Places but
11 years later the sprawling wooden structure was destroyed
in a spectacular fire on the evening of May 24, 1989 six days
after the 54th anniversary of its opening.

I hope Chuck Yeager knows how long he has to jet around, I didn't see any gauges near the controls. If it were me
I would be flying closer to the ground like 1 foot above the ground.

My guess is a 1950 Plymouth Suburban wagon. But I'm wondering what the story is with the crutch leaning against the car. I like that vintage traffic light that says 'Go".

Correct me if I am wrong, but doesn't this look like the front of the Roller Disc in "Xanadu"?
