It's interesting to note that the good 'ole American Motorist will gladly wait in line for his gasoline - anytime! Low price, or low supply.........

The beach house in the film ''Mildred Pierce'' was located at what is now 26652 Latigo Shore Drive in Malibu, Calif.
Latigo Shore Drive branches off from PCH just west of Corral Canyon Drive and parallels the shoreline, while PCH continues west, ascending a bluff. But originally, PCH (back then called Roosevelt Highway, which opened in 1929) followed what is now Latigo Shore Drive. In the later 1940s when PCH was rerouted over the bluff, Latigo Shore Drive was turned into a private street, and today the street's name changes as you move from east to west; the street branches off from PCH and is called Seagull Way, then becomes Latigo Shore Drive, and then becomes Malibu Cove Colony Drive.
The house was destroyed in 1983 by a terrible storm.

1962, and the only '62 models are one 62 Comet and three 62 Oldsmobiles (four if the two tone wagon by the black 57 Buick vert is a 62 and not a 61). The T-bird is either a 61 or 62 but I think a 61. I think the Falcon is either a 60 or 61. There is a 61 Impala, and a Corvair that could be anything from 60-64. But the Oldsmobiles are the only cars that are definitely identifiable as 62 models. Looks like Oldsmobile sold very well in that part of town that year. Almost never see a 62 Olds even at car shows today.
