    This looks interesting.....
    Xavier, I assume this is Michigan Ave. in Chicago? Obviously looks like they built a bypass for some really big construction project - subway? Elevated train? I've never been to Chicago, so I wouldn't be able to locate the actual location.....

    Based on the Ford wagon in the pic, I'm guessing this was around 1953.

    Yeah its Michigan Ave. but I'm not sure why the bypass is there. I'm looking but haven't found anything yet. I know that the building on the right of the giant Coca-Cola billboard is the Tribune tower.

    Surprisingly not as tall of a building as I had thought. But a cool looking building nonetheless.

    A wagon I never knew existed....

    1959 Mercury Commuter 2-door hardtop wagon.
    All '59 Mercury wagons were hardtops. I had seen '57's and '58's, but for some reason thought they had cancelled the 2-door for '59 - until I saw this pic:
