Is that an old abandoned station wagon left by the old Gator snack bar vendors? I want it. Looks like it might clean up fairly decent.

This post could either go here or under the Craigslist ads heading.
This is Not mine. I did notice it on Craigslist in Baltimore today. Apparently the wagon in the 1961 photo from Pikes Peak, is the same car that is for sale in the ad and located in New Jersey. The asking price in the ad is $14,000.00. Follow the link for more pictures.

Originally from Colorado, a very dry state, this car has 61,000 miles on it and is in good running and driving condition. In the last 3 years, I have rebuilt the transmission and the carburetor, recarpeted the car, redone the suspension and brakes, rebuilt the generator and added new tires. Car was voted Enthusiasts Favorite at 2011 Pontiac Fall Nationals. Car has an interesting history since it was new. See picture of car at Pike's Peak in 1961. Call 856-596-9235 or email. Thanks

If it is the same car at Pikes Peak, then what happened to the roof rack? Removing the roof rack would leave a lot of holes to be filled in, and a lot of expense to do it correctly. I would be more inclined to say that it is like the one in the first picture, rather than say that it is the same car in both pictures.

    1967 Sabra Sussita

    Quote......
The Sussita lays claim to being the first automobile manufactured in Israel in 3,000 years of Jewish history – and one of the first in human history to boast a molded fiberglass body. There’s quite a lot of information online about the Sussita as well as several fan sites devoted to the Sussita’s sexy cousin, the Sabra or Sabre sports car.

Sadly, the car didn’t sell well. In fact, you might call it the Yugo of its day. Israelis weren’t too fond of it either although there are so many online accounts about Sussitas being chomped on on by camels and goats that one begins to think this is urban legend or remnants of vicious rumors spread by the Ford and Peugeot importers who, by the way, eventually won those lucrative military contracts away from Sussita. Hmmm…
