    Our local A & W looked like this one. Then they added a dining area on the right, a large covered parking area in front with speakers for ordering.
    All of these photos reminds me that we rarely took pictures, even at large car shows because of primitive awkward cameras.

    Lance Reventlow is seen with Chicagoans Ed and Jack Stephani, as they pick up the famous Scarab racing car they had just bought from Reventlow on March, 19, 1959. The caption on the press photo mentions that the Scarabs (there were two), were built in 1958 and the car had won 18 major races.
