I believe that the direction that the 2009 picture was taken is opposite from the original... i.e. North looking in the old picture, and South looking in the new picture.

 

Your right, tedy's looking south, mine is north. The direction of the street was changed in the 80s, it may of had to do with a truck load of new Chevetts loosing its brakes and coming through town the wrong way. Luckily there wasn't anyone in its way, just 6 or 7 cars in a parking lot where the Esso station was in Tedy's picture.

Out of the 11 vehicles angle-parked at the curb in that block, 7 of them are wagons.
