    Lawrence Welk was always known for being sponsored by Dodge for most of show's entire run....
    I believe he also had a strong tie-in with Claude Short Dodge in Santa Monica, near where he lived (when in town - also had his Lawrence Welk Retirement Village in north San Diego county.

    Yes sir! Parking is totally free (for now) there is a 2 hour limit, but free is the best part. Ogden is still fairly small about 84,000 people so downtown is still small and cozy and mostly uncrowded.

    Great pictures Tedy. I've never seen an Amerago trailer - didn't know they existed. The Airstream adventures overseas were quite the effort. Expensive back then, undo-able today with so many issues going on in the world.

    So Lawrence Welk as a Dodge man. I did not know that. I had it in my head that he'd be a Rambler or Studebaker kind of guy for some reason.
