Wagons in vintage Street scenes

A couple of times a '57 Safari has shown up and I almost hurt myself trying to get the picture larger so I could take a look.

 

Around 1980, I had a friend that told me that he worked at a place that made street signs. He had one made up for me at the time, and I still have it. He, unfortunately has passed on, and I have always wanted to find the company that made the sign so I could have some others made. This picture gave me the name of the company, and I found a page on Google about them. It makes for interesting reading... click here Based on what I have read in this article, I believe that the company no longer exists. I guess that even street signs are a thing of the past...
