    I recognized it as an early Toyota Crown. Remember seeing them around LA. from time to time. Not real popular though. IIRC, they were about the size of a '67 Chevy Nova wagon, but still had kind of a cheap interior to it. Probably cost a bit more than the Nova, as well. People wanting an imported wagon back then usually ended up with a Volvo.

    My gandfather sold Toyotas at his gas station back in the 60s. My dad bought two of them, a 66 wagon and a 68 yellow Carona that with 12000 mile on it used more oil than gas, he hated that car, and to this day can't understand why anyone would buy a japanese car. He traded it for a 69 LTD.

    The Santa Ana photos appear to be Main St. Doesn't look much like that now. Only a few of the older buildings remain.
