    That photo of Neil's Diner with the cars all parked up close to the building.......that type of parking lot construction would never fly today. Diners would at least weekly have a vehicle crash through the wall and join them for dinner probably due to stupid drivers using their cellulite telephones for talking or texturizing and being "distracted." What a great cultural improvement!

    I looked again. Those cars really were very close to the building. Nowdays most people park with the nose of their cars way over the lines or cement stops which is odd because now hoods are shorter and cars are lower.
    I enjoy looking at the old scenery, like the mailbox in that one picture. So many things have changed that we don't even notice.

    I remember seeing those type of roof treatments done in the early 1960's, however, I didn't think that the company that made them back then was still around when this car was manufactured. Anyone know if they are still in business today? thanks..

    There's probably more than one company out there doing that type of work. Labor usually done by a convertible top shop or a regular sunroof installer.
