My Granddads 1978 Impala replaced the '73.

Yes! I asked my Dad if he had any pictures of the old Pontiac in that other (ElCamino) thread, and he came out with a 58qt tote... So, here is another..

1973 BelAir in retirement, used as a "truck"/camper/wood hauler/utility vehicle. Since the pontiac died.

Here it is Jumping my Dads 1968 Country Squire. OR vice versa. In maybe '78'79'80.

 

Not sure it is a "street scene" but it relates to the last... I guess the chevy is the one that needed the help.

 

Guess this one should have been before the other.

My Halloween costume made by my mother and sisters. Our non-op 1969 Squire in the background. I don't know what year, but I was in 5th grade, so I will guess 1980. I remember I was already 'into' cars, because my teacher bought a brand new Citation! Wow ooh ahh!

 

So, if we ocasionally call you a turkey we have good reasons!

 

It's amazing how wagons were standard items at races and other places a few years ago!
