Does anybody recognize this place?
This looks remarkably similar to a place my family went to went I was a kid, for fast food (this was before McDonalds) - back in the mid 50's. It was a selection of food places, and I seem to remember the 'hamburger' one being called 'Hamburger Handout' like this one. You walked up to the order counter, just like this. Other 'stands' included mexican, pizza, etc...The whole place was called 'Airport Village', and it was just north of Los Angeles International Airport, at the corner of Jefferson and Sepulveda. Torn down in the late 50's / early 60's some time.

This is where I broke off the key in the door lock of my dad's '48 Dodge.

 

Notice that the 64 Galaxie convertible has the 15" wheel covers that unually indicated that there was a 427 under the hood.
