Wagons in vintage Street scenes

This could be my old LeSabre.
It's identical (only much nicer and newer), right down to the alloys.
I wonder if he has the Jesus fish on the tailgate?

 

I want the 1954 Buick Skylark left edge center. Or th Mercury woody next to it.

Whats sad to me is where i lve I've seen this all to often, beautiful older cars just stunning mint except for the boat launch angle rusted out rears.

 

We didn't have boating salt water problems in the midwest ! Just winter road salt.

 

We have a salt water problem in the Midwest now, because of all the road salt.
Some local streams and lakes are too salty now, and all the fish have died off.

 

Way back in the olden days, pre-1994, in Illinois, they used that blue stuff. Every car over a few years old was rusted out and plants died 20 feet off the roads. Plus it cracked the cement.
