Wagons in vintage Street scenes

On May 23, 1962, more than a half-inch of rain fell on the Tri-Cities, creating hubcap-deep water on West Court Street in Pasco after obstructed storm drains left up to 8 inches of water on the roadway.

When Vice President Lyndon Johnson came to dedicate the Ice Harbor Dam on May 9, 1962, he had his motorcade stop in downtown Pasco so he could sign autographs.

Town of White Bluffs Washington on the Columbia River. The town, along with the town of Hanford were aquired by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers in 1943 to make way for the establishment of The Hanford Project.

They did bump Plymouth out of the number 3 spot in 63

I know it isn't a vintage street scene but it is from right where I live.

 

That event right there prolly inspired the hit song, "Ramblin' on the River" I bet??

 

Haha!! I had totally forgotten about these guys! The one that looked like a lamp was particularly funny I thought.

 

Made me think of on Joe Dirt "The Rambler Wagon, that's a rare car. People would remember seeing that car!"
