    Looks like the YF-14 at the Grumman plant, waaaaay back in the early '70s.

    I believe you are correct it looks like Bethpage NY to my eyes. Hard to beleive the F-14 design is over 50 years old.

    Yeah, then thrown away, for the idiotic F-35. And, to make matters worse AMARC can't understand the only other air arm flying the Tomcat has gone to great lengths to obtain spares, so instead of marking our F-14s off and denying all access to them, Congress had to order their destruction, to keep spares from the Iranians. What a s#!t show.

    My apologies, I have reason to think we're gonna need Tomcat capability, and it won't be there.
