I know, he's five years older than me and I keep hoping I outlive him so I can go see what all he socked away over the years. He's a hoarder, it pains him immensely to part with anything, and when prices were low on old hemi engines and any other brand of hi perf engine that was laying under someone's bench or in a wreck, he'd swing a deal and take it home. If he's sold any of it of any significance his wife and daughter are unaware of it. I don't wish anyone any ill health or problems but geez....I guess I won't know if he outlives me will I. I don't like that thought either.

At first I thought this was the turnaround in Seaside Oregon



But upon further review I believe this is somewhere else.

 

This appears to be a Navy carrier either heading to or from Bremerton, WA, right inside Rich Passage, as the shore in the background is very close. For those who never served aboard an aircraft carrier, when a carrier moved from homeport to the shipyard for overhaul, the dependent families, and any single sailors not on leave, had their cars loaded on deck and shipped with the ship.

 

Very cool to see the 1971 Dodge Polara CHP car. That's the perfect example of "car you won't realize you miss until it's gone."
