I have seen that pic. I have the feeling it's been posted on here before. It certainly has a California look to it, but not L.A. Basin, perhaps farther North or Northwest. And, you can Google search the pic, sometimes it can yield a clue.

From post# 27221, maybe previous page for you:
At least I know where THIS one is...
The beach and Pacific Coast Highway, in Santa Monica, CA. This is only just barely past the famous Santa Monica Pier, to the north. White fencing on top of the cliff to the right is for Palisades Park, a nice shady location that runs along Ocean Ave. Notice that this area along the beach starts the northern curve of Santa Monica Bay, where the shore direction gradually changes from NW/SE to east/west for a short distance, the end of the bay area stopping at Point Dume in Malibu, where the shore resumes its northward direction.

Love the Turquoise ‘66 Chevy turning. That stretch makes me think of Mad Mad Mad World.

Eartha Kitt. Wonder if that gig was before President Johnson put the stink out on her. BTW that poor ‘59 Pontiac looks like it’s on the road down.

Especially, with the likes of Gary Lewis and the One-Foot-in-the-Grave Boys hallucinating over it
