    ^^^ Photo above shows the very eastern end of the two NORTH runways at Los Angeles International airport. These two runways were opened around 1965 or so, IIRC. That commercial and residential area you see in the background is the community area called Westchester, part of the City of Los Angeles. The LAX terminal buildings are behind and to the left of the camera.

    Ah, OK, I thought Ivy was referring to the pic she put up. But yes, judging by the width of the rear quarter horizontally and the shape of the C-pillar, I'd say it's more likely a '66. We had a robin's-egg-blue '66 sedan when I was a kid.

    I assumed it was Lincoln when I first saw it. The conventional placement of the door handles should have clued me in.
