Grandfather Mountain once again, which is located six miles east of Linville, North Carolina. View of a portion of the parking lot photographed early in July of 1962 at the Scottish Highland Games held near the Mountain ever since 1956.

As Bette Davis would say. Puff - “What a dump”. Sad a lot of those iconic neon jeweled hotel and motor lodges along Central are now crack houses and shooting galleries for the homeless druggies that seem to infest Central nowadays. Soon they’ll have their own special bus down the center of the street. they can ride up and down Central, poo poo where they want, terrorize the other passengers, and try to get hit by a car as they fly into the street from the oh so shi-shi center stops. It’s gonna be grand!

So that's what it looks like with the Plexiglas roof installed.
I like the appearance better than the without it.

That was Eisenhower's Presidential Limo. Kennedy's, the SS-X-100, had three different roofs, which was then changed after Kennedy's assassination. But this model shows the three roofs available:

The windshield was said to have been immediately replaced, after the assassination, as well as all other forensic evidence, including the mysterious untimely death of numrerous witnesses. It doesen't prove a cover up, for the courtroom. But there is still plenty of explaining to do. Waterboarding can break the silence on who's still left around to know why

Anyone recognize the gizmo in the driver's window? Doesn't particularly look like a sun shade, although it seems a sun shade might be needed in the wagon's current position, based on the shadows observed. Probably IS the sun shade.... just looks strange.
