    We've probably seen this one before, but I don't particularly remember it. Came up recently on a Facebook page........

    This is near downtown Los Angeles, 1959. That 'church-looking' building in the background a street or two away is actually Union Station, for the train connections.... Street at the bottom of the pic is N. Spring St.. Street on the far side of the parking lot across Spring is N. Main St. Perpendicular street on left side of pic is Cesar Chavez Bl. (would have been called Macy St. in 1959.[​IMG]

    I remember this particular photo because of the two cars in the foreground. They are both 1958's.
    The one on the right appears to be a Chevy, the one on the left looks like a Pontiac, which apparently got the same rear roof vent as the Impala. So the car on the right must be a Bel Air.

    Is that a fan? Lol. That’s a neat speed device on the roof! Do you think that’s a radar type device that posts their speed, or is it set off the speedometer of the wagon, and it shows the relative speed that he paces you at?
