Wagons in vintage Street scenes

Looking in the last 5 pages, I'm seeing many more Blue cars in pictures (especially from the later 50s) than I saw when I counted cars on the road yesterday: most were neutral, ranging from White to Silver to Black; I saw half a dozen white, grey or black cars in a row and many dark colorless shades (with some dark blues.) The uncommon times I saw something colored it was usually a primary color; Red or Blue with Red being more common. There were only 3 green cars (one of them was a dull 90s sedan) and 2 yellow cars. I also saw one Desert Storm Jeep earlier in the day.

 

Los Angeles, 1975:



(Yes, there's a Clamshell in this pic; ) I'm only seeing 1 red car here but wow, 3 yellow ones in the same parking lot? There are 8 white or beige cars, some darker grey-ish tones and 4 blue or green ones.

Los Angeles, 1958:



(There's a wagon in the second row of cars in, on the left.) I see so many blue cars in here, some reds and a few blacks.

 

The second car from the left, in the third row is a Renault Dauphine. Three cars down from it, is a Tiucker to be seen.
In the '75 image, a Mazda RX-3 is parked next to a Celica. To the very left, in that row, an Opel Manta is parked. Above it, facing the same direction, an AMC Matador is parked

 

I'd also be crying, while playing funeral dirges on my record player, if a 427 wasn't under that hood
