Most likely not.....
While I did have relatives out in the Pomona area in the 50's and 60's, I didn't spend all that much time out there. Never lived that way, myself. I could guess that my great uncle, with first his Kaiser Manhattan, and then his '56 Buick probably did visit that car wash.

This pic was most likely taken not far from where I lived at the time. Looks to be around '63-'64. Shelby had his company headquartered in Venice, CA. then.

Nope - Inglewood, California - only a few blocks from LAX....... Space is now occupied by an Italian restaurant.
