Wagons in vintage Street scenes

Supposedly, there was not supposed to be a 'pickup' version of the Edsel wagons, but that photo is compelling evidence they at least tried it.

 

Perhaps, junkyard pics should have their own R.I.P. thread. They're depressing to see and the last place we'd want to see a vintage wagon in.
The newer buildings ruined this street. They should either have left what was built there or just have left it vacant. To live there would be a no win situation. If you lived on the right side of the street, you'd have that abominable concrete block with windows to look at, from your window. If you reside left, the window view would be pleasant. But, your building would suck:



This series was Jaguar's best looking. They should do a retro of these, like Ford did with the Thunderbird. Only better and put a wagon version into production, of course:
