Wagons in vintage Street scenes

Here's a crappy photo I took of the sat view on my computer of that corner, Sepulveda and Washington, showing why that real estate was so prime:

 

The older photos were taken at the corner, top of the photo where the gas pump icon is. That whole chunk from the Chase bank to the vegan beanery is apparently where Delores' Drive-in and the Olds dealership were, judging by approximate distances in the 1958 photo.

 

And Wagonmaster (I still don't remember your first name!), if you think this last post will cause a copyright infringement kerfuffle, go ahead and delete it, but I'm hoping the poor quality of my pic will put Google at ease.

 

You are correct!

I lived about 5 blocks west of this intersection, from when I was born in '51, to about 1956. Moved about 3 miles away.

 

This photo is so neat on so many different levels. Thanks for sharing.
