Wagons in vintage Street scenes

How would you get out of those two inner lanes of the round-a-bout?
What is that pipe looking thing sticking out of the small white convertible ahead of the red VW in the inner circle?
How many balloons are in the picture?
What's that guy on the bike in front of the little Fiat carrying?

 

Anyone know what the story is here ? Looks like something blew up.

Maybe the white delivery van?
Why is the guy on the far right holding his crotch? I have a feeling I don't belong in this neighborhood.

Hoping for the AMC, but they probably picked the Peugeot or the 412

 

It's funny to note, the Datsun wagon is not even there. I can't tell what year that was, but if it was '77, they likely didn't allow the 810 wagon because it would've waxed them all.

 

I don't think the 810 would have been included in this test. It wasn't really a 'conpact', it had a larger engine than any of these, and would have been more expensive as well.

Seeing as I had one of those (the RX-4), I'd be very interested in the order they finished. I'm sure I would have read this when it came out, but I don't remember. I'm going to guess the order, then try to find out how they actually rated.......

This pic is so unusual, I wonder if it's kind of a 'Where's Waldo' thing, like you're doing with your questions.......?
So, for your answers:
1. You don't. It's sort of a vehicular prison.
2. Not a pipe. It's actually one of the lane markings on the roadway surface.
3. I see two.
4. Dunno - part of a bed frame, maybe? And the 'guy' looks like a girl.

I'm just baffled by the guy standing up in the little concession trailer behind the Fiat.

#3 Three balloons. I just added this question while I was asking. One lite green, two red.
#4 Looks like a 10' pipe and looks like a guy.
#5 Looks like a female selling hot dogs and ice cream. I agree, looks unsafe standing in there.
