And it would pass through a Barrett-Jackson for about that same $40k amount. Don't think there's a millionaire out there foolish enough to part with $1.5m on a $40k vehicle. Seller might try Justin Bieber, though.........

Thing is most of the people that gave two farts about Elvis are either dead or dying now. I'm not saying this to be offensive, just basic math. Some of them might just be bonehead crazy enough to part with six or seven figures for something like this, and then their kids will sell it for pocket change again, and then it'll be back up for a King's ransom...

We liked Elvis. Even made a few trips to Graceland on our way back from Illinois to Florida. But never went out of my way to do it. I even remember eating chilli dogs, BBQ, and tacos in Memphis so probably did fart a few times.
That puts me in one of the above brackets yet I wouldn't give over a few thousand for that wagon.

I may be wrong, but I think it's possible that this may be targeted for an oversees market. Have you ever checked on Craigslist at Kuwait and the middle east and seen how many American cars are offered there that are in America and their prices. When I went to graceland I was shocked at how many foreigners were there and more interested than Americans.

Makes sense. I always find t interesting that foreigners have more of a passion for things American, especially music.
