Dutchy, send me at least $1500 and I will find a restorable clamshell wagon for you. Ill even take care of it until you can come get it or get it shipped to you. I'm serious bro, I would do that to save a wagon. If I was rich I would buy ten of them for myself!

Dutchy....clamshell refers to the way the tail gate opens & closes (like a clam). The glass slides up under the headliner and disappears and the bottom gate slides down under the floor and disappears. Very cool. Just push a button and voila!

Hey Dutchy, that youtube clip features our good buddy 75RivGS (Rob)'s beautiful 1972 Buick Estate Wagon. He's in your neck o' the woods.

Well...I screwed up, Stef....I thought the guy just posted but it was an OLD post. I figured once banned always banned. And that's a good thing.

Dutchy, I know you're in the US right now... where do you live in The Netherlands? I more or less assume in he south cause that is where yor Chevy came from. Call me once you're back (will PM you a number later)

As for parts: (and I know you will need quite a few): here's an idea. I know of a Dutch salvage yard in Buffalo, TX where you can park your parts-car for free. When in need for (a) part(s) you only need to pay for labor to take off the parts and shipping (which they do themselves by sending bulk in their own seacontainers... so much cheaper than all other ways of shipping through UPS/USPS/FEDEX etc... for that last group has CEO's in need of at least a million plus bonus a year :taz::taz: :Blasting_anim::rant:.... sorry, Board... could resist.

So maybe finding one parts-car in TX will be far more cheaper than trying to find parts all over the US and have those send individually (shipping costs only will kill your hobby that way)
