I got a new thermostat. It was cheaper than the head light bulbs. Now I am just waiting for the car to cool.

On a side note I got see a Town and Country and a 1964 Plymouth Belvedere in prime condition. The T & C had wood trim that was in serious need of some TLC. And yesterday my wife and I drooled over a LeBaron that was also a woody (fake I think) and it was in pristine condition... So not fare. We couldn't chase them down and trade cars.

IT IS DONE!!! The car runs like a dream. The engine stays cool and it doesn't cough or sputter. It idles like its supposed to. Etc., etc. Now we can sell it... We have now a list of 23 things we have done to get this car back into top shape. I never thought I would ever restore a car so new.

Yep it is in. You should see the condition the original was in. Whoa!!!

Over the last few days I have put in a new engine air filter, new gas cap, new radiator cap, I did a radiator flush, and put in the new thermostat. We only drive it to the store and to take my wife to work. It is in almost off the dealership lot new condition. We have turned the lemon into an orange... A sweet, sweet orange for some one else to enjoy... So does anybody have a Marquis Wagon they want to sell?:dancing:
