^^ Thames van? I remember seeing a few of these around So Cal, mostly in the late 50's / early 60's. Always wondered where they came from....? Of course, once the original Econolines, Dodge A-100's, Chevy Corvair vans and Chevy Vans came out, there wasn't much reason for importing these.....
American vans didn't appear, until the early 60s. I've never seen any of those yet, until I posted it. It doesen't look French. If it isn't Brit, your guess is as good as mine. Here's a well-known French one featuring the drivetrain from a Citroen DS
