Or they have just hammered it back. Can just hear that cabbie - "Wodda ya lookin at". Note his stogey, shined shoes, white sox and Dick Tracy era hair. Some kids fav uncle.
I think you’re right. It’s been hammered within an inch of its life. I think he was the favorite uncle till he lit up that stanky cheroot.
Plus, the right rear door is also a little rough, missing a molding and the trunk lid is dented. Who would want to ride in that thing ?? Imagine having a high class date with you and that shows up ??
That's probably why low class dates were opted for. They simply got the job done, without fussing around about the in betweens
How sweet it is !! Looks like the Florida afternoon shower has ended but clouds were still hanging around. Did the Cadilac convertible interior get wet ? Can see big water in upper right. Guess this is Miami. Entrance canopy is so white maybe the place is newish. Latest car year I can spot is the 57 black and white Ford convertible doing a left across the boulevard. Real good photo.
The black Lincoln is a ‘57 as well. As are a few of the GM offerings in the lot. Love the blue Mark II over by what might be the cab stand, or valet parking stand.
Glad y'all like it. When I came across it I was immediately drawn in. There are scenes like this depicted in film and the like, but it's really fun to see a photo that proves scenes in a setting like this actually happened and it isn't all just made up by Hollywood.
