Man, that's a pretty color on that Falcon. I wonder how much the kids on the bikes had to pay to ride the ferry across?
I remember, as a kid, riding the Washington State Ferries across Puget Sound. Passengers walked up the car ramp back then, in the '70s and '80s, so kids would be out there where the vehicles could be.
I’m sure as litigious as we are today kids probably have to remain in the car, and I’m sure the bikers must have helmets, and probably have to sit in a restricted area while they cross.
No, and there are kids only walking across, but back in the day, all foot and bicycle traffic left the boat first, and cars were not allowed to move until all foot traffic cleared the drive ways.
It's been a while since I have ridden one of the Puget Sound ferries, but it has always been in a vehicle. I am sure they charge foot/bike traffic a fee to come aboard now a days right?
