Vintage gas station Pictures

For our younger viewers information every 1960s suburban high school yearbook had photos like the one above. The local business donated as a year book or class sponsor and a bunch of HS kids went to thegas station, car dealer , car wash or whatever and stood around and had their photo taken for the ad. If these same people in the photo, now in their 70s, saw that many young people in one place today they would probably call the cops. Not a problem tho as most small business has disappeared and the chains have taken over. The manager of the local Gas Grub and Go is an hourly employee who does not have the authority to donate a dime to anything.

 

Well, they still can meet at inner city gas stations, if they need entertainment that badly. The star of this one looks like a Hoe Down escapee
