    Battle Creek, Mi. Station built in 1904, last fire station to use horses. Motorized in 1917. Closed in 1983. No owned by Fire Keepers Casino as a restaurant.

    This is what Hurst built when they wanted to showcase the Jaws of Life. Not every fire department needed this setup, but for sure, many more small departments had better rescue capabilities with it.
