The 1950 model unveiling of the new Chevrolets at South Tacoma Motor Company located at 5602 South Tacoma Way in Tacoma, WA.
Here South Tacoma Motor Company highlighta the introduction of the first all new post-war car from Chevrolet for the 1949 model year.
5602 does not exist anymore, it's a parking lot, and the first address is 5606. When I lived in Lakewood (the next town on Tacoma's South border), the Starbucks was a burger and dairy joint. And another burger joint is behind that Starbucks.

Nice photos of the time before the mega dealerships. The largest car dealer where we now live sells Kias. They have so many cars that they show off the inventory with flying drone shots. Liked how Raymond Scott Olds had a full size wagon on the floor. High optioned wagons were often amoung the most expensive cars in a dealers inventory back then.
Yup, and now, some dealers have mega-expensive dealerships, like the Seattle Honda dealer, whose inventory is all kept in a 3- or 4-story parking garage, visible from Southbound Interstate 5. It's one way to get people in...shelter them from the rain!
