    ^^^ In 1986 when I got out of A school in San Diego, these were hitting the shores and I *almost* bought one to drive back home from San Diego to northeast Tennessee, taking my time and the scenic route(s) of course. I ended up flying back on the government's dime. I regret that I didn't take teh drive, just because, but I've never regretted not buying the Yugo.

    And the old joke - "Yugo is going to make a station wagon. Yep, they are going to call it the Wego." :rofl2:

    When Yugos came out, I was dubious (and for good reason) as Dan Aykroyd and Tom Hanks were in Dragnet.
