School Bus Crash near Saxton in Barnettstown, Huntingdon County on November 19, 1930. There were 6 children on the bus and no injuries. Five of the students continued onto school.
Bath Iron Works, 1945. During War World II, when gas was rationed, Edward Edgren, director of transportation, was hired to coordinate worker and material transportation to and from the shipyard. BIW operated 38 buses, providing transportation for about 2400 employees per day. Pictured are workers leaving the north end of the main yard at the end of first shift, many to board buses parked on Water Street.
