    Had friends and club members with these VW, Corvair, and Ford in that style. Always liked them.

    Thanks for squealing on fannie, Cat!(y) I guess I will have to resort to more stringent methods to cure her of her nasty habit of calling vehicles cute!:yup:

    We have to be easy on fannie. She has a lot to worry about geting her own fannie fixed up before her and her husband move into the retirement home.
    Miss you Mike! I'm getting too old to be watching all these members going astray alone. Nice find on KK's wagon.

    Description

    In 1957, Bangor and Aroostook Railroad started cutting back on rail passenger service in Northern Maine. On November 25, 1957, four busses replaced two trains (No. 2 and No. 7) that provided commuter service to the region. The bus service provided connections with both Maine Central Railroad and Greyhound. Bangor and Aroostook Railroad's magazine, "Maine Line," v. 5 #5, pp. 4-8; v. 6, #1, pp. 4-7. Bus service was discontinued on January 21, 1984. "Maine Line," v. 31 #1, p. 11.
