No idea what year or type the bus is, but my Dad took the picture January of '66 @ Tân Sơn Nhứt Airport Saigon, Republic of Vietnam.
Looks like a 1940 Ford according to the back window ! Just kidding. Wouldn't some of these busses make great motorhomes on modern chassis like the yellow school bus? I recently gave up the idea when we finally junked my 1977 Dodge motrhome with 440. Had it since 1978.
what say you...? The photo might not be 'vintage', but the bus I bought last month is, right? 'Nelly' is a 1950 Studebaker 2R16A (a 1.5 ton cowl chassis) with a 48 passenger Superior body. She's got a 'circa' 1985 RV conversion inside!!!
