Oh. My. God. For a 2-door, that is a heinous color. I bet no one smashed into, or pulled out in front of, this car.

Color picture from the Chevy Tonawanda Engine plant, I never see those rams horn manifolds painted Chevy orange on restored cars.

Those are 1963 421 SD Manifolds, Very Very rare parts. Even Rarer if they are the Aluminum version used only on the 1/4 Mile Factory back race cars.
Judging by the color and casting texture, they look aluminum, from here, comparing that one with the normal darker cast iron one on the engine below. The automatic transmission even differs from those of neighboring engines, there. For the quarter mile, dragsters were using two-speed automatics of some sort, back then
In 1963 the Manual transmission cars were still faster than the Automatic's of the day, that would change in about 5 years time. But they did build both Manual & Automatic SD's for the different classed of cars back then. (The Automatic's raced in a Separate and slower class) Its hard to tell from the low quality picture, but I agree that the exhaust manifolds look to be Aluminum, but I think the Automatic Transmission is the 4-speed (no OD) Hydromatic that is attached to that engine. This is the best Picture I can find on the web, it seems to have the long tailshaft housing, and the large oil pan of the transmission in the picture Here is a shot of the cast iron version of those manifolds on a 62 389 SD, the collectors on the end of the manifolds are worth more than the manifolds themselves, as very few sets of collectors seem to have survived
