Unusual Valiant wagon

    hi, yes it was planed to use the valiants to replace the snipe but it never happened, rootes bigest wagon in the 70s was the hunter/septer estate, there was a few valiants in the uk ,but you never see them now unless they turn up at a show, aus cars dont seem to work in the uk, vauxhall just tryed to sell holdens munaro here but have now ended selling it, and in the 70s leyland were going to try selling the p76 overhere but pulled the plug on that,i remeber one early morn around 2am i was on a delivery job and i followed at some speed a p76 down the fossway , (a super long stright roman road that starts in the midlands and gos into glos ) when the leyland stopped i saw what it was ,and the driver was a leyland test driver who said he rated the car but wasent sure the british would ,so we had the princess instead
