Here are some pics from the ad. :camera:

"Selling my '61 Plymouth Suburban 2Dr. Wagon.
I bought this car in Reno NV some years ago. I was stored inside for many years before I bought it. It has light damage to the passenger front, with a hit above the bumper. I have all the replacement tin, which I found in Oklahoma, and is rust free. No structural damage, just exchange sheet metal.
The wagon is equipped with a slant six engine, (first year?) and has a standard transmission. (3 sp. on the column) and would be a great candidate for a floor shift. The engine runs great, and doesn't smoke. Brakes are not in working order. It will run and drive, but hasn't been run in a couple years. I have had this car inside as long as I've owned it. Comes with clear title...."

Three in one day? I mean, while reading the entire post! That is a good looking design, the two door wagon. I also like the entire distinctive look about the 1961 Plymouth line. Nothing boring about any of the '61 Chrysler Corporation stable!

Many thanks for that link, Jeff. I've known the seller, Bill Olson, for several years and have tried to buy that wagon from him some time back.
He's a good guy to talk to.
I'd love to buy it now, but, alas, I'm out of car money at the present. :(

A quick update, I'm hoping to take a road trip sometime this year in the green wagon, otherwise, still just driving and grinning.

I've replaced the rear springs and rebuilt the brakes and painted the rear end on the blue wagon.
Unfortunately, I've been sidetracked by other projects and have not done much else.

The smiley was for my daughter!

I've still got a bit to do....

However, I've got this one on the road, sort of a 'rat rod', mainly rat, that is.

Her name is 'Petunia', and here she is at a local cruise-in with a buddy's '60 Dodge.

Pete, I love your Plymouths, especially your gorgeous green one. So beautiful!

This photo is so period perfect, like a trip back in time! I guess that's what these cars are for most of us.

    Fantastic job! :2_thumbs_up_-_anima

She's a year newer, but very cool nonetheless. I would not mind her taking space in my driveway! :)

I'd like to grab that and do stock paint, and replace all the missing chrome and emblems. I always liked that design, even though it was downsized.

How can you go wrong with an old two door wagon? Looks great!
