Well, it did say make an offer. I hate adds like that. Apparently they think it's not worth more than demo derby junk so it shouldn't take more than a few hundred dollars. Don't look bad and depending how many a few years is, the engine should be worth something. Be worth something to put the front end under an old rod. Millions of store bought MMII kits are being sold for over $1500.
Anyone else see the irony in turning a Pinto into a race demolition derby car? Kinda reminds me of this scene in Top Secret. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-9GGDOUDLhc <iframe width="420" height="315" src="//www.youtube.com/embed/-9GGDOUDLhc" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
Yup, I had a real Mustang II front end in the Studebaker. That was before they were making kits. It was a red one. I made a point of showing that to the guy who bought the car. The donor Mustang II also had the 8 inch 3:55 that I put in the wagon, in the 8 inch rear end I got from a Comet. There's some value to the wagon.........
It's one of those "It's been sitting here for a long time" Pics, Huh? Just like that 50s car I once saw photos of that was buried in a falling-in garage.
