Thanks HotRod. I was pretty giddy when I saw the package in the mailbox. Can't wait to wear it to the first car show of the season.

Nothing to be sorry about! If I wasn't about to sell MY 'Way-Back Machine', I'd order one of those shirts too!

Boys and I went and visited Grandpa and Grandma on Memorial Day. The plaque telling of Grandpa's military service has been installed, so that was nice to see.

How great that your Grandpa’s Service to our nation is glorified as it should be. Hopefully your a Way aways from “Chaz”. Looks like he had quite a nice long life. Sadly I think many in his generation would scratch their head as to why they made the ultimate sacrifice so we can collectively turn our heads as burning out a CVS and looting a Target store as the new expression of Rights and Freedoms in this country. He was truly part of the greatest generation. How great for your boys that they are aware of his sacrifice, and what his generation gave to our nation.

    What a beautiful memorial.
The large white stone is beautiful, is that a family cemetery?

    Thank you Jennifer.
No, it's a small community cemetery. It's a very tight-knit farming community. Most of the folks I have grown up with have relatives that were founding members of the community buried in there.

    Here's one for you Andrew:
This past weekend the Yakima Valley Trolley's Association held a poker run. They usually hold an annual car show which is one of their large fundraisers each year. Unfortunately, as we all know, things are a little different this year.

So we attended the poker run, which had a really good turnout and then hung out afterwards.

    IMG_5979.JPG IMG_5959.JPG IMG_5956.JPG IMG_5958.JPG IMG_5955.JPG

They had one of the trolleys out of the barn for the event. I have seen them around for years, but I had never been inside of one (that I can remember) so after the poker run we got to climb aboard and check it out.
    IMG_5957.JPG IMG_5961.JPG IMG_5965.JPG IMG_5967.JPG

And then, just as we were about to leave one of the guys who volunteer's there said "we're going to take the trolley on a short ride. Would you like to come?"

    Yes. Yes we would.
