Heres pics from this week.I got the brakes torn down. The shoes are soft from sitting, but everything else looks good.
the rambler, I noticed your car for sale on ebay. You indicated there that you have found another you like better. What is it? Another Rambler? http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1964...oryZ5357QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem
I seen the link you put up.So far the bidding is low. Too bad I can't get that one too but it's too far away and as usual no $$$$
He,he,he you guys are to sharp!I looked at a 1957 ford 4 dr wagon. The motor(a 351c and c6) is fresh and the front and rear have been subframed. But the more I work on the rambler.....Its such a solid car,I kinda hate to part with it.My reserve is twice what I have in it( but less than 2K)so we'll see.I bought all the parts for the brake/frt end rebuild.I have car a.d.d. but I love wagons!Dave
Welcome to the car a.d.d club. Crazy isn't it. That Ford sure does sound good tho. Aw hell....keep 'em both.
I wish, between the rambler, the travel trailer,The quarter midget I'm trying to broom AND my buddys car (72 cutlass)thats getting some metal work and paint,I'm running out of space.P.s.the cutlass is a two door..YAWN
That Ford you are thinking about could probably tow that travel trailer real nice with some suspension and brake upgrades....Cool rig!
mechanically, its pretty nice, the body needs some tlc, glass is bad and it needs interoir work.Withe the same effort I can probally get the rambler on the road.
