""""Funny thing is, all of us derby drivers have more wagons combined than actual wagon afficianados.its just a fact.... the difference between myself and you is that i will be willing to pay more to wreck it than you are to restore it.."""""

wow that is pretty funny... youd pay more to wreck it then restore it?? i thought this guy was talkin about how he restores them too?? :coco: . but anyways im pretty sure 3/4 of the forum will tell anyone demolitions are dumb. i agree with blackfoot and silverfox.

Why would anyone dump money into something to go out and intentionally destroy it and loose every ounce of money they spent? All on the hopes of a very, VERY slim chance at a small purse, its just plain foolish. I have some prime property to sell you, sure its a swamp, but its still prime!

This guy doesnt restore anything, he buys, tears down and destroys, nothing more, nothing less. He is here for that purpose and to start problems, via PMs to Sliverfox and myself. There are plenty of Escorts, Tempos, Taurus's and other throw away cars to destroy that are a dime a dozen. Why would azzwipes buy older, hard to find solid cars to purposly wreck? Around here, older cars get the DEMO treatment all the time, but you need to undersand, there arent many rust free cars over 10 years old sitting here in the snow/rust belt. There usually isn much left of them once they pull the glass and trim. Then again, there isnt a DEMO within 500 miles of here that pays more then $1000 for 1st place. So hearing idiots like this guy who dump in $2000+ on something that wouldnt pay 1/2 is just so stupid its funny! So you wanna buy some swampland? Real cheap, $8000 an acre, thats nothing for a big spending, money flushing fool like you.

once again, you dont have any idea what i buy, build, restore or destory... If you didnt want that blue 71 woody destroyed, then you should have bought it.i have been in $10,000.00 to win derbies, and have run in $700.00 to win, i build the same, to win. Im sure you will find my friend who runs a top sportsman car gay also, just because he spends more on it than he will ever win... I cant wait to find out what great sports you guys are involved in and who thinks that it in and of it self and your participation in it makes it gay....for guys who love wagons so much, ill bet i love them more..... I grew up in a 3 wagon family, and now own 5 myself and 90 other cars. Dont sit in judgement of what i do and call it gay assed, with "azzwipes" im sure there would be a few guys more than myself that take offense to that statement. If i had more time, i would have bought biggs wagon, if indeed it could have been bought. I have a list of around 20 other nice wagons, all available for a fair price, but you guys wont get it. I see that your 2 members, blackfoot and silver fox have formed their own welcoming committee and like excluding people who dont fit their mold of what a wagon forum member should be like... Open your minds guys, derbies have been around since the 40`s, wagon clubs?? Not so long........ Im still here...later......

Under one would be great!

And I think that this is pretty simple. I think that it's common sense that if you don't like wagons, you shouldn't be here. If you like wagons, restore them, I understand that if you have a 'parts car' i.e beyond point of restoration, and you want her last run to be in a blaze of glory, go right ahead. Will I like it or pay to see it? Nope, but if that's what tickles your fancy and the car's oficially junk, may as well.

Thats right CE, but these guys are not doin that. They are destroying very restorable and clean cars alot of the time. Look at the Kingswood that BIGGS cut up. Foolishness!

Here are some examples and discriptions of what this guy is destroying.

1979 Chrysler New Yorker

360 motor, runs great

Rust free / clear title - $775

1976 Chevy Malibu

400 motor, turns; bucket seats and console. Clean clean car.

Great figure 8 car - $600

1976 Pontiac Catalina

Complete - $900

1973 Buick Electra, tow package, fresh paint. $1,100

Awful nice lookin cars to be sending to the demos. Though, no matter how nice or cheap, I wouldn't give this guy a penny to save a single one, he isn't deserving enuff.

I've got a hunch that if you're a 'derby' guy the price is $600 - $1,200.
If you tell him you're going to restore it, it will cost you $1,200 - $2,400........

I would like everyone to take note.....there is almost NO rust on these cars and the interiors look good. Lots of great parts on these cars. If, indeed, not perfectly restorable.

Sorry, you are wrong...... The price listed on my website is what the price of the car is, whatever you do with it is no concern of mine. If i cared what happened to it, i wouldnt have it up for sale....The vast majority of these cars were either rescued from salvage yards before they got crushed, or were just languishing in a backyard ordriveway never to be driven again. Anyone could have bought these cars from the owners, i just happen to be the one who has them now.....Thanks "Krash". maybe you are here for the wrong reasons too, just ask blackfoot and silver fox.:Welcome: Im sure they will be willing to help you out the door......

And thats why i am selling them, i have plenty of others that arent pictured that i will wreck myself, or my daughters or son in laws will be happy to do that also..... See, if you want to rescue these from my terrible clutches, just break open your piggy bank and hook up the trailer...hell, some will even drive home across country. Then you will all be heroes to blackfoot and silverfox:162:.(im striving for that gold star!!)(y)..YAYYYY!!!

Another wrong answer.... Not here to start anything, but i will finish it. You push the button, i`ll flip the switch...... i defend demolition derbies, just as people who run drag cars defend what they do. as do people who build 4x4 trucks, same as people who build rat rods, just like people who run scca sports cars.. let me guess, you couldnt afford a desirable wagon so you bought a 90`s model to make do? awwww, whats wrong? hit a nerve because thats what YOU like? I never said you have to like everything i am involved with besides the absolute fact that i love wagons. Maybe you dont like the fact that i hate onions? i dont care, or the fact that i like eating peanut butter and cheese sandwiches? i still dont care..... maybe you just want me to be more like you, is that it? sorry, the world already is full of hypocrites like you guys . I drive and enjoy restoring wagons, so who gives a **** if i wreck a few that are too far gone to restore? at least they go out proudly instead of being crushed as a whole.....Now go out, buy a few and you will all feel better for having saved them from (god forbid) derby drivers.. after all, we save all the good stuff and wreck the junk....... at least thats what i do...... You guys think that members will join your insipid ranks against me just because you posted a few pictures of nice cars for sale to be raced, derbied or restored? Okay, how about i put in my ads that you can build a rocket ship out of the cars instead? Then nasa will be mad too, or..... i can say that you could build a boat from them?(thats ironic, isnt it?) YOU GUYS JUST DONT GET ME, AND THATS FINE.. NOW GO AHEAD AND ENJOY YOUR 3 PERSON HYPOCRITE CLUB. ASK AROUND AND SEE WHO KNOWS WESS WHITTAKER IN EARLVILLE, ILLINOIS. HE IS A FRIEND OF MINE WHO OWNS OVER 150 WAGONS AT ANY GIVEN TIME. EVEN SOLD HIM A FEW NICE DRIVERS A COUPLE YEARS BACK.... DOES HE DERBY? HELL YEAH, AND HE IS THE NICEST GUY AROUND TO GET PARTS FROM..... NOW GO PESTER SOMEONE ELSE....... YOU PUSH THE BUTTON,I`LL FLIP THE SWITCH......
