The girlfriend likes it, you obviously think it's the best looking Mopar.... What's to question? The price? Subtract off the $3K for shipping and is it a $5300 car? Given the two points above, I'd say you'll probably kick yourself if you don't get it.

How cool is the rear view mirror mounted to the dash?

It's cool but I just told the owner that he may sell it if someone else wants it... This because he told me someone else wants to see it today and I don't think it's fair to say I want it and then go there and maybe not take it because it's not in the state I hoped it was.

I can only see it next week because it's a long drive, and to be quite honest my real dream car is:

    - something between 1935 and 1953
    - 2 door coupe, doctors, business or sedanette

My real dream car is a Buick Sedanette from 1949/1951.

So now it's up to fate; if the owner sells it before next week I will not own it. If he still has it next week and I don't find my real dream car I will take it home.

I say go for it if that is what you want. It's an older car that is much harder to find and more desireable.

I didn't buy the car because of an argument with my girlfriend about the gasoline consumption and spending too much holiday money on it and on the gasoline...

And TBH it wasn't really my dreamcar, I really like the awkward styling and my girlfriend really likes those cars a lot but not the fuel consumption :biglaugh:

I AM going to buy something different AND I will even sell my Plymouth for it.
