That's almost naughty Rev. If the first shall be last and the last shall be first, then how do you fix the holes in the rear floor or their 'wagons'? :biglaugh:

Muffled sounds of Willie Nelson's To all the wags I've loved before...

I love having strangers tell me how much they love my car.

I love looking in the rear view mirror and seeing an acre of real estate between me and the rear window.

I love the Gran Touring Suspension, whatever that is.

I loved laying down rubber with my son in the shopping mall after hours this past weekend.

I love flipping out the cup holders off the front of the leather center arm rest.

I love the hand holds complete with lights at the back wing windows.

I love my 1994 Chevy Caprice and 1995 Buick Roadmaster both so much, I don't know which one I want to keep!

so today it's pouring on the way home I mean hard - car was bone dry, even tailgate area, and let me tell you, there's NOTHING that prevents hydroplaning like 5k+ lbs of steel it was a blast hitting the ponds, old Edie just plowed through straight as an arrow

I love the power and handling after I had a lot of tuning done by an expert. It corners and handles like a dream and doesn't at all feel like a bulky wagon.

I love how people underestimate the car at traffic lights :D

I love the room and never having to worry to take something big with me, ever! I also play double bass and with the double bass, a drum kit and a few guitars there is still room to spare :D

I love the rear window, altough the exhaust gases go right in when I open it. I just think a rear window is so cool to open from behind the wheel :p

I love the no nonsense look and feel of the car, even though it originally came packed with all kinds of options.

Things I do not love are the carb, leakage of the front window and roof, gas prices and the fact that I cannot drive it daily in this country of car haters and winter time salt.

Just the fact that I FINALLY own another wagon (after 11 years without) is good enough for me to love.

(But I've owned vans all my life too, so it's not like I've ever been without a huge vehicle)

Yesterday I drove 4 hours to pick up my daughter at college. We loaded up all of her stuff in the wagon (seat down - piled high). On the way home, we stopped at a local pub for dinner that was holding a cruise-in.

There were only 9 cars, but I got a thophy for Best of Show!!!

I love that my car is really useful AND cool at the same time!!!

im in agreement, they are cool and useful.

i love that everywhere i go, people look. In this part of the country nothing is old, theyve torn down everything over 30 years old and rebuilt, and most of the people here snarl their nose at any car over 5 years old. Most of them hate me, because i have a yard full, and the newest is 10 years old.

I also love that no matter how fast you go in a wagon, there is some (_l_) that wants to show you that youre in his way.

I went to get some parts at one of the big yards, this morning, off of a 1981 Fairmont Futura Squire wagon. They process the car first, taking out any jacks, AC chemicals, gasoline. Andy and I saw it yesterday, out front, and he figured it wouldn't be out in the yard today. He was right. I borrowed his Fairmont wagon, with the newly rebuilt I6 engine and the hot cam. It rumbles like a Mustang 5.0. It goes like a racehorse! He's got the idle a bit high, so when you let go of the brakes, it's up to 20 MPH in no time! At 30 MPH, you wish you wore feather slippers, especially since its coming onto a long weekend, and the radar guys are running robot speed cameras.

The car is quick to respond. Its also got an American speedo. So at 60, you're doing 100 KPH. Most of the drive is at 50 KPH. I suffered withdrawal. The urge to let her grab and go is hard to resist.

Anyway, the gal at the yard saw Andy's car, and said that it really looks great. I'm pulling out and 2 guys are gawking at it, thumbs up! And "Right Focking On!!!, the other guy said the thing sounded like it was on steroids! "Mean machine!" I didn't dare peel out of there because the rocks and dust would have it them!:rofl2:

Heck of a build Andy!;) I hate it! (Where's that Turbo that fits on my six?:rofl2:)

I love backing my Colony Park up, stretching my right arm across the bench seat, and then looking rearward to see that huge length of car behind me. I get a kick out of it every time.
