The Mad Cap "test run" road trip!

I caught a carb on fire once. OK actually now that I think about twice. Well three times actually. First time me and a mechanic were trying to start my old crewcab and it back fired. Another time, same truck it caught fire, but immediately went out. Bought a new carb after that. The last time was in the Ranchero. I ended up with bubbled paint on the hood and had to re-shoot it. All were bad, could have been worse. Carb fires can reduce a project to a pile of smoldering ruble in no time. Glad yours didn't do excessive damage.
